The sadness in the chest raises up as a burning piercing sensation towards the throat. Cheeks warm up and eyes get wet. Inhalation and exhalation become short and shallow, louder. I can hear the breath, especially exhalation. Breath is turning hasty. The pause between exhalation and inhalation and also shortens. The air just gets to the upper part of the lungs.
When actively engaging with the mind contents that are linked to sensations → sensations intensified → sadness ↑
When mind content ignored and bodily sensations observed → sensations weaken and eventually pass away → sadness ↓
Origin of this particular sadness-sensation → craving the sensation of closeness and belonging to that which could no longer be
Observing the mind through the bodily sensations it originates, takes away the mind’s ability to compulsively produce mental content. Use the bodily sensations as anchors and keep searching for the foreign patterns that have nested into your mind. Observe emotions as they raise, and once you’ve understood why they are there, let them go again. Don’t hold on to them. Observe yourself.
NOTA MENTAL
Even the most pleasant sensation will turn unpleasant overtime and viceversa. Remember your steps to learn from them, but also let them go, so that they don’t keep dictating your way.
